School Timing
The school timing is from 9 am to 4 .15 pm with a lunch break of 45 minutes.
Evaluation
Apart from the monthly tests there will be two semester examinations in an academic year for K.G. Section.The School conducts regular assessment of the pupils using various tools, besides this, there will be four Formative Assessment and two summative.
Assessing co-scholastic area
Students are assessed in co-scholastic areas on a five point grading scale once in a session.
Co-Scholastic areas are :
1. Life Skills.
2. Work Education.
3. Visual & performing Arts.
4. Attitudes & Values.
5. Literary & creative skills.
6. Scientific skills.
7. Information & Communication skills.
8. Organisation & Leadership skills.
9. Health & Physical Education.
Result declared at the end of the year is final and will not be reconsidered. Promotion is based on the overall performance in all the test and examinations held during the academic year. No re-exam will be conducted to the pupil.
Progress report of each student is presented to the parents at the parents counselling programme along with the report which the class teacher maintained on non academic areas to be presented to the parents concerned.
School Fees
Tuition fee, Special fee, Medical, PTA, Festival, Conveyance fee, Mess Fee (If applicable) and other school fee may be remitted annually or in three installment on or before the dates specified below. if the fee remains un-paid on the last date of payment with fine, the name of the student will be removed from the rolls. Student whose name is removed will be re admitted only on payment of arrears including fine and re admission fee.
Leave Absence
No leave is granted except on prior written application from parents in the leave records page in the Hand Book and that only for weighty reasons. If this is not possible, the leave application should be submitted to the class teacher the following day.
Pupil suffering from any communicable disease is bound to take enough number of leave till a doctor can certify medical fitness.
For promotion to the higher standard a pupil has to secure at least 75% attendance.
Compulsory withdrawals
All the students are strictly abide by the rules and regulations, routine of the school. The Principal can ask parents to withdraw their ward from the school if he considered the students conduct, behaviour and influence to be in any way detrimental to the interest of the school. In such cases the amount of fee paid during the academic year shall be forfeited irrespective of the date of expulsion.
Application for Transfer Certificate may consider with the notice period of one month. Application for TC during the academic session will not be generally entertained unless there is a change of residence. Such applications may be considered with a notice of 30 days.
Hair Style
Boys : Shortened hair to be combed to side
Girls : Long hair to be plaited into two parts. Tie it with ribbon and covered with Ash color Maftha
RULES OF THE SCHOOL
1. School functions from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm
2. The students must reach school at least 15 minutes prior to the commencement of the class. Disciplinary action will be taken against regular late comers.
3. It is compulsory for every pupil to come to the school in the school uniform.
4. Keep dress, body, learning aids and surroundings neat and tidy.
5. Books and stationery item needed as per the time table and school Hand Book should be brought to the class. Pupils are responsible for keeping their books and belongings intact and labeling them properly. Non approved magazines / newspapers / books etc should not be brought to the school.
6. Habitual negligence in school activities, dishonest, insubordination to staff, serious misconduct inside or outside the school, and obscenity in word or act are sufficient reasons for involving disciplinary actions.
7. Students are not suppose to enter other class rooms without permission and they are prohibited from going out of the school premises during school hours.
8. All are expected to speak in ENGLISH in the school campus and it is desirable to be followed at home as far as possible.
9. Exchange of articles or money transaction between pupils are not allowed without the consent of the class teacher.
10. School properties should keep carefully. Any deliberate damage to the property will be recovered from those who caused the damage.
School Bus
1. Students should obey the instruction and guidance of the Teacher / Bus driver/Assistant.
2. No parts of the body of a student (arms, head etc...) should be held out of the window at any time
3. No object to be thrown through the window or inside the bus.
4. Students are not allowed to move from seat while the bus is in motion.
5. At the bus boarding point, small children have to accompany by the bus assistant to cross the road. The elder students should obey the traffic rules to cross the road.
6. In case your child is traveling by your own transport please ensure that he/she reaches the school in time and please give the details of the vehicle, Driver, Phone number to the School Vehicle Administrator.
Library
1. Silence should be maintained.
2. Students should enter in the library only in the school uniform.
3. Reference books and periodicals can be referred only in the reading room.
4. Students should not socialise or disrupt normal operation of the library.
5. Books issued to the students will be returned back with in a period of 5 days.
